Choose a core course based on your students’ interests, schedule, and school goals. Each course is built around a clear student project and can run during the school day, after school, or as a summer program.

Stop Motion Animation

Best for Grades Pre-K–8

Students create A short stop-motion film using clay, paper, LEGO, or everyday objects.

Students learn Storyboarding, set design, character building, frame-by-frame animation, timing, teamwork, and visual storytelling.

Digital Animation

Best for Grades 4–8

Students create A short digital animation with original characters, motion, and simple scene design.

Students learn Character design, timing, movement, digital animation tools, motion principles, and storytelling through animation.

Film Lab

Best for Grades 4–8

Students create A short film, trailer, visual effects scene, or edited media piece.

Students learn Camera shots, framing, story structure, editing, sound, production roles, and visual effects basics.

Graphic Novel

Best for Grades 4–8

Students create An original comic or graphic short story with characters, panels, dialogue, and page layouts.

Students learn Character design, story worlds, panels, dialogue, pacing, page composition, and visual storytelling.

Podcasting / Media Lab

Best for Grades 4–8

Students create A podcast episode, interview segment, audio story, or student media piece.

Students learn Episode planning, interview questions, voice, pacing, recording, audio editing, and media storytelling.

Interactive Storytelling

Best for Grades 4–8

Students create An interactive story, choose-your-own-adventure project, or branching digital narrative.

Students learn Story structure, choice design, character goals, cause and effect, user experience, and interactive storytelling.

AI Foundations

Best for Grades 4–8

Students create A hands-on AI literacy project that documents their thinking, creative choices, and responsible use of AI as a tool.

Students learn What AI is, how it works, where bias can show up, and how to evaluate and use it responsibly. Using workflows inspired by animation, design, and media, students build critical thinking and learn to use AI to amplify their own ideas, not replace them.

Dungeons & Dragons

Best for Grades 4–8

Students create An original character and a collaborative adventure that evolves through the choices, challenges, and surprises their party encounters.

Students learn Character development, worldbuilding, collaborative storytelling, creative problem solving, strategic decision-making, teamwork, improvisation, and confident communication.

Every course lives in one of six tracks. Pick a single course from any track, or use the grade-band map to build a multi-semester sequence. Tracks connect to each other — a Worldbuilding course pairs naturally with Game Design, Animation, Film, or Comics.

Note: Digital Animation begins at grades 4–8. Pre-K–3 animation is stop-motion only (clay, paper, LEGO). AI integrates at age-appropriate levels across all tracks.
