How it works

Three choices. That’s the whole process.

We build the schedule, the materials, and the quote around what you pick. Each step is spelled out below.

  1. 01

    Pick a format

How much time you have. One workshop, a semester, or a full year.

  2. 02

    Pick a course

What your students make. Eight courses, animation through AI.

  3. 03

    Pick a delivery model

Who runs it. Our instructors, your teachers, or both together.

Step 1 — Formats

Start with how much time you have.

Every course in our catalogue runs in any of these formats. Session count is built around your schedule, not ours.

Single Workshop

A focused introduction built around one finished project. Best for enrichment days, electives, and trying a course before committing to a term.

Single-day or multi-day sessions.

Semester Course

10–15 weeks

The core offering. Students build skills week over week and finish with completed work they can show. Session count is built around your schedule.

Semester-based programming.

Full-Year Sequence

Two connected semesters that build on each other. Courses stand alone or link into a pathway with structure, support, and student outcomes built in.

Comprehensive program across the school year.

Career Panels & Events

Live events connecting students with working professionals in animation, design, technology, and media. Candid and specific: how they got there, what the work is actually like, and what students can do right now.

Live industry panels and career events.

Step 2 — Courses

Then pick what your students make.

Each course is built around a clear student project, and can run during the school day, after school, or as a summer program.

Stop Motion Animation

Best for Grades Pre-K–8

Students create A short stop-motion film using clay, paper, LEGO, or everyday objects.

Students learn Storyboarding, set design, character building, frame-by-frame animation, timing, teamwork, and visual storytelling.

Step 3 — Delivery

Three models. All school-ready.

Every model is designed to fit your school the way it runs.

Instructor-Led

Creatineers instructors deliver the full program. Zero burden on school staff.

Best for schools that want a fully managed program. Creatineers handles everything from scheduling to facilitation.

Teacher-Led

Your staff runs the program with our curriculum, kits, and training.

We train your staff, provide the curriculum and kits, and support them throughout the program. Includes a turnkey curriculum kit — everything your team needs to run it.

Hybrid

Co-delivery model. Creatineers instructors and school staff share facilitation.

Ideal for schools building long-term capacity. Your staff runs it with Creatineers alongside to model and coach.

Not sure which fits?

The same course runs under any of the three. What changes is who stands at the front of the room.

Track record

Proven across school types and grades.

Emma Lazarus High School (Grades 8–12)

Multi-year animation curriculum. Developing and piloting an animation pathway model supporting curriculum integration, portfolio development, and long-term student growth aligned with the NY State Portrait of a Graduate.

Maspeth Town Hall (K–8)

Summer Rising 2024. Fulfilled Exploring Futures requirement. DYCD observed and was impressed with lesson quality and student engagement. Program expanded to two junior high school sites in fall. Live industry career panel sparked parent follow-up for additional resources.

KIPP Charter Schools (Grades 6–8)

Teacher-led model across 4 sites. Strong curriculum design recognition, high student engagement, standout voice acting and sound design work. Site director recommended Creatineers directly to a DYCD Program Manager for other CBOs seeking a STEM option.

Bed-Stuy Site (K–5)

After-school programming for elementary students. Demonstrates model flexibility across younger age groups.

Maspeth Town Hall

We partnered with the CREATINEERS for the first time during Summer Rising 2024. Our participants found the curriculum engaging. Our staff enjoyed leading the activities, as they were structured, yet allowed for creativity and freedom of expression. DYCD observed a lesson during their summer evaluation and were impressed with the quality of the lessons and the engagement exhibited by the participants. We will be using the CREATINEERS at two of our junior high school locations this fall to help fulfill our Exploring Futures requirement.

Recommended to DYCD Program Manager

KIPP Charter Schools

CREATINEERS has done a fabulous job with our students at 4 of our sites. I would highly recommend Academy of Animated Art to other CBOs that might be looking to add a new STEM option at their sites.

Hear it directly

Don’t take our word for it.

“I am just in awe of the way this curriculum is structured. Thank you for giving children an opportunity to create at this level.”
